Tutorial #1: How to make 'splash' photos (like my red cube images).
It's "simple" enough to do it every day (it's funny). You need a cam with manual-mode (check the properties of this picture for settings). Use a tripod, a gratin dish, milk, a cube. Milk is doin really bad splashes to all directions, if you let drop something in. Try to hide your lens and cam, try what you think. I've zoomed a lot, so the cam could be "far" away from the scene.
Now you need one finger on the trigger, the cube to your other hand ... let it drop and do a *click*. Use a dark room (no sunshine from any direction) and your intern flashlight (cam). Try and try ... it will work :-)
